About PackWeb

PackWeb is a small Australian website-design business that builds easy-to-run sites for small businesses, non-profits and community groups. We've been doing this kind of work for years, on the same simple promise: you get a clean, modern website that you can afford to keep running, and you own every bit of it.

Why work with us

You own your site, end to end. Every PackWeb site is built on free, open-source software. We don't lock the design, the code or the content. If you ever decide to move it elsewhere, you take the whole thing with you. No exit fee, no hostage situation. We hope you stay, but we make sure leaving is easy too.

We don't charge per page. Some web shops still quote per page or cap the number of pages on a site. That's an old model. PackWeb sites have no page limit. Build five, build five hundred. Same site, same hosting plan. The only fair-use rule is that if your site grows so big it slows down the server, we'll help you split it onto a bigger plan.

One invoice a year. Most small businesses we work with were juggling separate bills for the domain, the email, the hosting and the developer. We roll all of that into one annual invoice. One renewal date, one number on the spreadsheet, one phone call when something breaks.

Plain English, every step. We write quotes the way we'd want to read them. No "leveraging synergies". No 40-page proposal you'll never finish reading. You get a fixed price, a short scope, a launch date, and a person to ring when something needs changing.
